4th Annual Mississauga International Youth Cricket Festival

We are pleased to announce our 4th Annual Mississauga International Youth Cricket Festival (MIYCF) will be taking place from July 27th to August 5th, 2019. This year’s age categories are Under 15 and Under 19, who will be playing in a 30 over format.

The MIYCF has hosted teams from all parts of the USA (including the Atlantic Region, Texas, California as well as players from various states). Most recently, there has been huge representation from the West Indies, in particular Trinidad and Tobago at both age groups. We are excited that the tournament has been recognized throughout the world as one that is of very high calibre.

The local contingent has included the champion Ontario Cricket Academy sides (U18 in 2017 and U14 in 2018), the provincial board Cricket Ontario (U18 champions in 2018) and the Mississauga City Select XI.

The MIYCF Organizing Committee has been very pleased with the overwhelming interest from teams across the globe. In 2019, it is expected that more teams from other countries will be participating in each age group, giving a real global flair to the event.

Another exciting development is the addition of Mississauga’s newest international standard turf facilities to the existing turf grounds where the tournament is played.

This tournament is a highly rewarding one, where players can challenge their abilities in different conditions and against some of the best talent to be found in the world.
